The Leukaemia Project Foundation (LPF) was borne out of a need to provide hope and a better outlook for leukemia patients in Ghana and West Africa. We believe that anyone suffering from leukemia should not have to face the bleakest outcome typically associated with this disease, especially due to the unavailability of treatment facilities and its high cost associated with it if any.
Treatment of leukemia is expensive, more so in Africa, People must seek treatment abroad especially in cases where a bone marrow transplant is required, this makes it near impossible for many people in Ghana and Africa owing to the hefty bill involved in it, which is made worse by the differences in the currency values.

Our Vision is to build a state of the art Transplant Unit, which will include facilities such as:
- Laboratories – routine, special and tissue-typing
- Wards – general and bone marrow transplant
- Outpatient department
- Bone marrow registry
- Educational wing
